Today´s reading:
OT: Daniel 5
NT: II Peter 2
Ps: Psalm 119:113-128
Pr: Proverbs 28:19-20
Today´s notable verse:
He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.
Proverbs 28:19 (NIV)
This proverb is a great reminder that we are responsible to work hard in whatever position God has placed us, and that we should not pursue "get rich quick" schemes. The former pursuit represents a desire to see God glorified; the latter pursuit represents a desire for selfish gain.
