I added Martha’s Distraction blog to the blogroll (need to make an announcement of that one, too). The other two, I put in my own links list, since they’re not really blogs. I’m still trying to figure out how to handle non-blog web sites; any suggestions?
Yesterday, I had an epiphany of sorts: the simple act of reading Scripture whets the spiritual appetites of those who are trying – in fits and starts – to get close to God again.
I’m looking forward to disciplining myself with regard to reading the OYB daily.
It’s a comforting realization, isn’t it, that when we reach toward God He reaches out for us? When we take a step in faith to say, “I want to know you more through your Word,” He will increase our desire to be in the Word!
And it’s also comforting to know that we’re all walking together in this journey of discipline!
