Today´s reading:
OT: II Chronicles 14-16
NT: Romans 9:1-24
Ps: Psalm 19
Pr: Proverbs 20:1

Today´s notable verse:

Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?

Romans 9:21 (NIV)

Wow, what profound wisdom in such a simple, rhetorical question. Our human concepts of "fair" and "unfair" wither under the light of the truth represented here. God is our Creator, and as such He has the right to create us as He will, for whatever purpose He wills. Our only responsibility as the pottery is to fulfill our purpose for which we were created, and to bring glory and honor to the Potter.
