- @williamsba I'll be there this weekend, too! in reply to williamsba #
- @themelab looks great! (but: "WordPress 3"?) I need a "version_three_point_oh_dangit" filter. 😉 #wordpress in reply to themelab #
- @ryancduff if only you were "undocumented"… in reply to ryancduff #
- @andreasnrb @OneFineJay we didn't start it. in reply to andreasnrb #
- @andreasnrb @OneFineJay both Taliban (Afghanistan) and Saddam (Iraq) harbored and abetted AQ. That's cause enough. in reply to andreasnrb #
- @carlhancock @andreasnrb @onefinejay @caffeinatedb Saddam/AQ links proven demonstrably. No link to 9/11, but proven link to AQ. in reply to carlhancock #
- @andreasnrb and you can read about *actual* Saddam-AQ connection here: http://bit.ly/9aYzIo @onefinejay @carlhancock @caffeinatedb in reply to andreasnrb #
- @andreasnrb re:Wikipedia link: lack of involvement w/9/11 != "no connection to AQ". @onefinejay @carlhancock @caffeinatedb in reply to andreasnrb #
- @ryancduff and the worst part is, SS card is *not* supposed to be used for ID verification, ever. in reply to ryancduff #
- @andreasnrb yes, it is. I'll try to join in live in the chatroom if I can. in reply to andreasnrb #
- @andreasnrb @caffeinatedb all it represents is a movement of the goalposts from my simple assertion that Saddam harbored/abetted AQ. in reply to andreasnrb #
- @OneFineJay @andreasnrb @carlhancock we're already in the drawdown phase that GWB initiated. Iraq *war* was success. Long term? We'll see in reply to OneFineJay #
- @caffeinatedb chemical weapons and labs were found in Iraq, FWIW. But WMD stockpiles very likely went to Syria before invasion. in reply to caffeinatedb #
- @carlhancock @caffeinatedb and that's very likely, too: Saddam could have been bluffing, or misled by subordinates regarding state of WMDs in reply to carlhancock #
- @andreasnrb they're a functional democracy. 40MM people under self-directed govt rather than dictatorship. To me, that's a success in reply to andreasnrb #
- @carlhancock like I said: long-term success is not assured. But I trust Iraqi people more than Saddam. in reply to carlhancock #
- @andreasnrb Saddam killed, tortured, raped, and imprisoned orders of magnitude more innocents. in reply to andreasnrb #
- @caffeinatedb Wikipedia is not a neutral source. in reply to caffeinatedb #
- @caffeinatedb @onefinejay I agree, wholeheartedly. in reply to caffeinatedb #
- @JellyBeen @justintadlock I think he's right. A custom "gallery" or "aside" post type (i.e. custom loop) would require post-format support in reply to JellyBeen #
- @JellyBeen @justintadlock he doesn't mean Themes can't use categories *period*, but rather not for custom loops in place of post-formats in reply to JellyBeen #
- @JellyBeen @justintadlock see e.g. Matala: http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/matala/1.2/readme.txt in reply to JellyBeen #
- @JellyBeen trust me, I know! 😉 in reply to JellyBeen #
- @JellyBeen indeed, and MANY Themes have been copying this functionality, bit-for-bit. in reply to JellyBeen #
- @caffeinatedb what do you need to know? in reply to caffeinatedb #
- @ryancduff it's not really *drama* per se, is it? Just people hashing out details of a cool new #wordpress feature? in reply to ryancduff #
- @westi @ozh @nathanrice @yoast @nacin how is that not an argument against every extension API already built into WordPress core? in reply to westi #
- @yoast @nacin @markjaquith @_mfields @andreasnrb @ericmann @justintadlock @nathanrice @westi I could buy "fixed" in 3.1, with API later in reply to yoast #
- @justintadlock @nacin @westi I almost said that exact thing (not as eloquently) in the post comments. +1 in reply to justintadlock #
- @_mfields @ozh @westi @nacin @yoast @justintadlock @nathanrice @ericmann Down to 66 free characters. I wonder who else I can CC? 😉 in reply to _mfields #
- @nacin @justintadlock Twitter needs an automated "@ et al" reply feature! in reply to nacin #
- @WraithKenny @ozh @westi @nacin @yoast @justintadlock @petemall but a custom-extended post-format type wouldn't need (Theme) portability. in reply to WraithKenny #
- @WraithKenny @ozh @westi @nacin @yoast @justintadlock @petemall that's what Plugins are for. Are podcasts Theme-portable w/o a plugin? in reply to WraithKenny #
- @nathanrice @justintadlock I'm quite certain that the Theme Repository Guidelines will NOT require all-or-nothing on post-formats @jellybeen in reply to nathanrice #
- @nacin see my follow-up, regarding podcasts. See also: NextGen photo gallery, event management, etc. Theme-portable, extended by Plugin. in reply to nacin #
- @markjaquith my contribution to the bikeshed: I think the post-format label should come *first*, rather than last, in post-status label list #
- @markjaquith p.s. if you want "scannability" shouldn't the post-status label list have its own column? #bikeshed #
- @justintadlock @JellyBeen I think @carlhancock is talking about Theme support of post-formats being all-or-nothing? in reply to justintadlock #
- @nacin that is a laudable intent, but it's not how users will use the feature. Plan to add flexibility or plan to deal with future headaches in reply to nacin #
- @petemall @janeforshort what's to #blamejane It's going to be a freaking AWESOME feature, no matter how it get implemented! in reply to petemall #
- @JellyBeen @justintadlock I see post-format Theme support as recommended, but if implemented, required to support core implementation in reply to JellyBeen #
- @JellyBeen @justintadlock same as we currently treat Post Thumbnails, Nav Menus, Custom Image Headers, etc. in reply to JellyBeen #
- @wptavern @carlhancock see how Matala handles the "gallery" and "asides" categories: http://bit.ly/dxS9A8 Those will become "Post Formats" in reply to wptavern #
- @JellyBeen @justintadlock and if a Theme wants to implement only the "gallery" Post Format (and not all formats), that will be perfectly OK in reply to JellyBeen #
- @justintadlock nice shot across the bow! 😉 Hopefully, the point will be well-taken. in reply to justintadlock #
- @carlhancock @justintadlock I think the point of the screenshot was: make Post Formats extensible in core, or Theme Devs will do it for you in reply to carlhancock #
- @justintadlock I love the radio-button selectors as opposed to the dropdown list. I think it looks much better! in reply to justintadlock #
- @EricMann @justintadlock I assume the list/metabox would be collapsible, which would make it no less cluttered than a dropdown list, eh? in reply to EricMann #
- @Skitzzo @Katemorris @topheratl that panel sounds NSFW! 😉 in reply to Skitzzo #
- @katemorris I know; I caught @skitzzo's earlier tweet about the t-shirt underneath. Just giving him a hard time. 😉 in reply to katemorris #
- @itsananderson ah, so that explains it! in reply to itsananderson #
- @Topheratl quite true, I'm sure that @Katemorris is way too classy to be NSFW, but @skitzzo sure isn't! 😉 in reply to Topheratl #
- @OneFineJay not much sympathy around here, what with this being a Colts/Bengals household… in reply to OneFineJay #

- @OneFineJay @markjaquith @zamoose but who would want to? Have you SEEN a typical TSA agent? in reply to OneFineJay #
- @OneFineJay @markjaquith @zamoose I'm thinking this is just the TSA's response to being prohibited from looking at pr0n while at work in reply to OneFineJay #
- +1 and then file a sexual assault lawsuit against the TSA RT @zamoose @OneFineJay …I'd punch 'em if they frisked my kids, though in reply to zamoose #
- @ryancduff @CrystalDuff that's what you think, Muggle! in reply to ryancduff #
- @ozh @markjaquith I have 3yo and 2yo daughters. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING even remotely "entertaining" about TSA's sexual assault policy in reply to ozh #
- @markjaquith time to start calling congressmen – and somebody who's been sexually assaulted by TSA needs to file a federal lawsuit. in reply to markjaquith #

- @Thematic4you thanks! Unless this (or something) shows up in core in time for 3.1, I'm just going to reference the Resize Thumbnails plugin. in reply to Thematic4you #

- @pearsonified sad, but true. But then, I've made my thoughts known well enough regarding the long-term impact of such behavior. in reply to pearsonified #
- @floressalicis that's 2 illegal hits (Addai, Gonzo) that didn't even merit a fine from NFL. I guess they condone cheap shots against #Colts in reply to floressalicis #
- @pearsonified I think you should put in a proposal for a WC, to do a "How To Move TO Thesis" presentation. in reply to pearsonified #
- Theme Review Weekly Stats: 07 Nov 10 – http://bit.ly/acZJRT #wordpress #
- @ryancduff @CrystalDuff when 400 years old you reach, look as good you will not, hmmm? in reply to ryancduff #
- @floressalicis probably not. Time to practice some groosfraba? in reply to floressalicis #
- @devinsays no problem! We try to get tickets for the already-approved Themes turned around very quickly. in reply to devinsays #
- @StampedeBlue @18to88 no offense, but that's one of the most moronic things I've ever heard re: Gonzo. in reply to StampedeBlue #
- @StampedeBlue @18to88 bottom line: if Gonzo doesn't take a dirty hit from a dirty player, he doesn't get injured Monday night. Not his fault in reply to StampedeBlue #
- @18to88 that Polian is to "blame" for the "bad" pick of Gonzo in '07. Seriously?!? I'm sick of his cynical/jaded schtick. in reply to 18to88 #
- Not a good start for the #Colts .. Give up a 62-yard rush, then a Vick TD pass. Need to answer here… #
- Ouch. Manning picked by Asante Samuel. C'mon, #Colts #
- FG Eagles. #Colts down 10-0. Let's go, Colts! #
- @Shake1n1bake remember the Monday-nighter in St. Louis back in 2004 or so? in reply to Shake1n1bake #
- Now the #Colts trail 13-0. Our half-defense is trying to hold on. Need a score here from the offense. Let's go, Colts! #
- @18to88 down less than 2 scores. It's still a ballgame. in reply to 18to88 #
- Two #Colts receivers put out of the game (if not the season) on illegal hits in consecutive weeks. Clean up your act #NFL #
- Baby James runs it in for a #Colts TD!! Take that, freaking dirty Eagles. C'mon Colts, crush those dirty-playing bastards. #
- RT @18to88 Best. Tweet. Ever. RT @ColtPower: #Colts are pissed now. That run by James would have been a TD from 1,000 yards out. in reply to 18to88 #
- @NMRgirl Eagles are playing D.I.R.T.Y. Colts are pissed. Trying to take the lead before half. About to get the ball back. in reply to NMRgirl #
- #Colts ball @ 50yd line, 2 timeouts, 1:04 left in the half. Colts down 16-14. Manning is about to make you pay, Dirty Eagles. #
- FG! #Colts lead 17-16. Dirty Eagles: you will rue this day. Do not piss off The Manning. #
- These morons on FOX: Marino, Tomlin, and Esiason are all discussing why the Collie hit wasn't illegal. Eff all of you assholes. #
- @18to88 @lukedunlevy go for it. Wouldn't be any worse field position than the Eagles have had all night. in reply to 18to88 #
- @18to88 wouldn't this be a milestone 4th quarter comeback game for Manning, if he pulls it off? #
- 6 minutes to go, down by 9. Need some Manning Magic. Go #Colts #
- Baby James with the Touchdown! Go #Colts Now, get the ball back! #
- 40 seconds. 74 yards. 2 points down. No timeouts. Come on, Manning! Come on, #Colts #
- @ewerickson I'd take a @RepStutzman primary against Dick Lugar in 2012 as a consolation prize in reply to ewerickson #
- @DinaFraioli all of the above? in reply to DinaFraioli #
- @MikeySayo @1moreSlonno helmet-to-helmet hits are illegal. Leading with the helmet is illegal. End of story. in reply to MikeySayo #
- @1moreSlonno @MikeySayo that's about as illogical (and incorrect) as claiming that anything on the internet is "public domain" in reply to 1moreSlonno #

- Finally getting to watch the #Colts Texans game on DVR. This officiating is terrible. Asinine OPI call on Gonzo prob. cost Colts 4 points. #
- 1st-half observations of #Colts Texans: DL played great; OL horribly inconsistent. Refs consistent on DB pass def but suck @ everything else #
- I bet Mike Hart would have liked to get that same PF facemask call that Arian Foster got. Refs are better in second half, but still suck. #
- And a mockingly pathetic DPI call on Tryon is followed by the world's luckiest fumble recovery. #
- Give me a freaking break. Gonzo injured when he got hit – and driven to the frigging ground – out of bounds. #NFL officiating is terrible #
- Wow, Man-Beast Session, playing with a dislocated elbow and broken arm, almost ended the game with a near-INT. #
- Hey, current Senate Republicans: keep pushing for earmarks in the omnibus bill. It will make it easier to figure out who to primary in 2012. #
- The #Colts today placed Anthony Gonzalez on IR. Love the guy; wonder if I'll ever see him in a Colts jersey again. 🙁 #
- @18to88 finally got to watch the game this morning. Knowing that the hit put Gonzo on IR, watching that OOB PF not get called is infuriating #
- @pearsonified petty; childish, even. in reply to pearsonified #
- @pwilson24 I still love the guy, and hope he recovers and returns. Other fans love to revel in their cynicism; not me. in reply to pwilson24 #

- Just completed my 2011 healthcare open enrollment. It was every bit the ObamaCare "screw you" I expected: higher $, no more HSA-covered OTCs #
- @LovinBlue have it on DVR; will watch soon. What is it with Colts players (Addai/Gonzo/etc) getting injured on fouls that don't get flagged? in reply to LovinBlue #
- @keder @ContessaBrewer FUD FTW! Every single person in this country has *access* to healthcare. By law, nobody can be denied care. in reply to keder #
- @wjdennen no, but they likewise didn't go *up* by as much – and the fun has only just begun. HSA changes alone are killer. in reply to wjdennen #
- @presjpolk what about the at-large primary, general-as-runoff approach? Ensures only top-two vote-getting candidates in general. Good/bad? in reply to presjpolk #
- @presjpolk I'm probably too late, but I would say WV, PA, NV, and CA are the best candidates. MO might be interesting, too in reply to presjpolk #
- @presjpolk agreed on principle, but then you get situations like Murkowski, Crist, Chafee, etc. in reply to presjpolk #
- @keder I especially love the decision to use characters for a pointless ellipsis, rather than spell "know nothing" correctly. in reply to keder #
- @MarlinStutzman awesome! Congratulations! Would love to see you Primary Dick Lugar in 2012! in reply to MarlinStutzman #
- @bgardner have a non-iTunes RSS feed link? I wouldn't use iTunes if my life depended on it. in reply to bgardner #
- @nacin what part of "already sworn in" don't people understand? There are more important things to argue, such as his agenda. in reply to nacin #
- @nacin the point is, the ship already sailed. He's POTUS, so it's a non-issue, and therefore a distraction from what's important in reply to nacin #
- @nacin but, these are the people that scream about convening Grand Juries & such nonsense, so as you say it probably isn't an arguable point in reply to nacin #
- @nacin honestly, I opposed him foremost on policy, even before he was elected. The BC issue is and always was a distraction, valid or not. in reply to nacin #
- @nacin I never bothered studying the BC issue enough to form my own opinion regarding its validity. Waste of time/energy for me, IMHO in reply to nacin #
- @LovinBlue @pwilson24 rest day for Mathis, or was it the knee injury from the HOU game? in reply to LovinBlue #
- @LovinBlue @pwilson24 I would posit that, given Vick's MO, most important will be our LBs, and their ability to maintain gaps and to contain in reply to LovinBlue #
- "The web is considered 'public domain'" says the copyright infringer: http://bit.ly/d7bYOH #facepalm (h/t @ewerickson) #
- @nacin at least Frankfurt is a nice airport! in reply to nacin #
