The Pirates of Penzance

The Pirates of Penzance was my second on-stage theatrical performance, and was also my first operetta. I played the part of the First Pirate Lieutenant, Samuel. The performance of this Gilbert and Sullivan classic took place at St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, an all-female school near Rose-Hulman.

While no experience quite lives up to the "break a leg" incident from Anything Goes, The Pirates of Penzance remains my favorite on-stage theatrical performance to date.
