Sauteed Mushrooms
Serving Size: 1 batch
Per serving:
  • Carbs:6 g
  • Fiber:2 g
  • Net Carbs:4 g
  • 15 Assorted Small Fresh Mushrooms (Button, Bella, etc)
  • 1 T. Butter
  • Garlic Powder
  • Parsley Flakes
  • Seasoned Salt
Equipment needed:
  • Skillet (cast iron, preferably)
  1. Heat skillet to medium.
  2. Melt butter in skillet
  3. Rinse mushrooms in water, season with garlic and seasoned salt.
  4. Sautee mushrooms in melted butter, until lightly browned
  5. Remove from heat, and immediately season again with garlic, seasoned salt, and parsley
  6. Serve hot
  • Goes great with grilled steak.
  • Small-to-medium mushrooms cook more evenly for this recipe.
