Mustard Raspberry Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 1 C. Yellow Mustard (French's)
  • 1 C. Tomato Paste (Contadina)
  • 1 C. French Raspberry Vinegar
  • 1/4 lb. Butter
  • 1/3 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1 T. Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 T. Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 T. Emeril Legasse Kicked Up Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 T. Louisiana Hot Sauce
  • 1 t. Fresh-Cracked Black Pepper
Equipment needed:
  • 2-qt. sauce pan
Directions:
  1. Combine mustard, tomato paste, and vinegar.
  2. Bring to medium heat
  3. Add butter and brown sugar, and stir until butter is melted.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, and stir until well-combined
  5. Remove from heat, and immediately season again with garlic, seasoned salt, and parsley
  6. Serve hot
Notes:
  • Makes 1 Qt (8, 1/2 C servings)
  • Goes great as marinade, baste, or sauce for chicken or pork.
